OCEAN – Polymer Granulate for Tire Balancing OCEAN is a polymer granulate designed for balancing irregularly shaped tires, effectively reducing vibrations along the entire circumference of the wheel due to its moving granules. The powder is non-hygroscopic, meaning it does not absorb moisture or bond with water, preventing it from sticking to the tire or rim. It is neutral to the butyl layer and does not damage the tire. The product is harmless, environmentally friendly, and serves as an excellent alternative to traditional wheel balancing. It continuously reduces wheel vibrations, improving ride comfort and reducing tire wear. The OCEAN balancing powder is fully compatible with wheels equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors. Each bucket includes a selection guide to determine the proper amount of powder based on tire size. A measuring scoop is also included for easy application of the powder into the tire. Safe for TPMS Systems Laboratory tests confirmed that OCEAN powder does not interfere with data collection from TPMS sensors, making it safe for use with wheels equipped with such systems. Safe for Tires OCEAN powder is safe for tires as it is neutral to the butyl layer and does not degrade it. Unlike traditional wheel weights, the powder dynamically balances the tire while driving. By continuously adjusting to changes in the tire throughout its lifecycle, it extends tire life and ensures a smoother ride. Using OCEAN powder also reduces tread wear, increasing tire mileage. Applications OCEAN is designed for balancing single and twin tires on delivery and heavy-duty vehicles. Dosage Measure the appropriate amount of powder for the actual tire size according to the size chart using the provided scoop. Option 1 – During Tire Mounting Pour the measured amount of powder into the tire before mounting it onto the rim. Option 2 – For Mounted Tires Fill a special pump (applicator) with the appropriate amount of powder and insert it into the tire through the valve stem. IMPORTANT: When adding powder before mounting the tire onto the rim, ensure no powder is spilled in the bead area of the tire. This product is intended only for truck tires, as per the sizing chart. Traditional wheel weights must be removed. Once the powder is removed from the tire, it can be disposed of in workshop waste bins. It poses no risk to users or the environment. Incorrect use of the product, such as adding too much or too little, may result in suboptimal performance.
