The Pumice stone is designed for machining rubber on the inside of passenger car and lorry tyres. It is the most popular tool for machining rubber. It has a form of a ball mounted on a metal shank which allows the grinding wheel to be mounted on grinding machines and drills equipped with a quick-action chuck. Maximum speed 4,500 rpm. Suitable for use with a 6 mm drill chuck and an NV 11 hexagonal tool holder with a 6 mm hole (cat. No. 519 – 6672).
