Air-flexx® Valve Extensions – Quality Means Safety By using Air-flexx® valve extensions, you significantly contribute to improving road safety while protecting your fleet from weather conditions and other hidden dangers. With Air-flexx® extensions, air pressure checks can be performed quickly and easily on inner dual tires and single wheels with hubcaps. There’s no need to remove the hubcaps. This is a true innovation in the fleet and caravaning industries, providing an economical solution where braided hose extensions and metal valves fall short. Air-flexx® valve extensions are flexible, making them virtually indestructible and exceptionally durable. They are also stiff and stable enough to be installed without the need for clamps or rim brackets (up to a length of 8 7/16”). These valve extensions are resistant to breakage and wear and operate even in the most challenging conditions. Air-flexx® valve-less extensions are highly flexible, providing greater safety at lower costs. With a multi-layer construction of high-strength stainless steel combined with durable, heat-resistant polycarbonate, Air-flexx® extensions offer the following advantages over traditional valve extensions: – No pressure loss- Indestructibility- Flexibility- No need for additional clamps or rim brackets (up to a length of 8 7/16”)- Significantly reduced risk of tire punctures- Ability to check tire pressure at any time without removing hubcaps from single wheels- Under-inflated tires are not only a traffic hazard but also increase operational costs. With Air-flexx® valve extensions, you can achieve the following benefits:- Reduced risk of accidents- Lower fuel consumption- Reduced tire wear- Shorter repair downtimes- Improved driving comfort Air-flexx® valve extensions are manufactured in Germany using the highest quality materials and precise craftsmanship, ensuring the highest level of quality at a competitive price. Check Tire Pressure – Save Fuel With Air-flexx®, it’s possible to monitor air pressure in inner dual tires at any time. Did you know that losing just 0.5 bar of tire pressure over a distance of 100,000 km leads to an additional consumption of 875 liters of fuel and shortens tire life by more than one-third? Air pressure in inner dual tires, like in any other tire, directly affects fuel consumption and tire wear. A pressure drop of 0.2 bar results in a 1% increase in fuel consumption and reduces tire life by 10%. With a 0.4 bar pressure drop, fuel consumption increases by 2%, and tire life shortens by 30%. A pressure drop of 0.6 bar can increase fuel consumption by up to 4%, while tire life decreases by 45%. This means that a truck that typically consumes 35 liters of diesel per 100 km will unnecessarily consume 875 liters of fuel over a distance of 100,000 km with a 0.5 bar pressure drop. A drop in tire pressure can only be avoided through regular checks. Rigid tire valve extensions often break due to external influences or material fatigue, making it impossible to check tire pressure. Air-flexx® valve extensions, thanks to their quality and flexibility, are not damaged by external influences or material weakening. Air-flexx® ensures conditions for regular and convenient tire pressure checks. Avoid Repair Downtime With Air-flexx®, you can reduce the time spent in the workshop. Since a deviation of just 0.6 bar from the ideal tire pressure shortens their life by about 45%, a commercial vehicle will need to visit the workshop almost twice as often for tire replacement as would be necessary. If low tire pressure leads to an accident, the vehicle will be out of service for a longer time, and the additional repair costs will also increase. Low Tire Pressure – An Expensive Mistake With Air-flexx®, vehicle fleets can save a lot of money. Each year, enormous costs arise due to low tire pressure. Particularly with dual tires, air pressure checks on the inner tires are very unpopular: it’s time-consuming, dirty, and cumbersome. Therefore, these tires are often neglected. If valve extensions are damaged, pressure checks are often impossible. Air-flexx® valve extensions pay for themselves after just a few thousand kilometers and significantly simplify the control and correction of air pressure. Many Accidents Can Be Avoided Statistics confirm it: Tire blowouts in commercial vehicles often lead to serious accidents! Only about 15% of all tire blowouts are the result of sudden, severe tire damage caused by external factors. The remaining 85% are preceded by a gradual loss of pressure, which the driver, especially in commercial vehicles, usually does not notice unless they regularly check the tire pressure. Increased tire flexing causes excessive heating, which can raise the temperature in the tire carcass area to 130°C, leading to a tire burst in the worst case. Damaged rubber tire valve extensions can cause sudden pressure loss in the inner dual tire. Air-flexx® valve extensions greatly facilitate regular air pressure checks on inne
