The new CP7748-1300 wrench is a ½” pneumatic impact wrench for service professionals and is the successor to the popular 7748NG model. The new model incorporates the latest technological advances which have made the wrench more comfortable to use and handle. Compared to the previous CP7748NG model, the new CP7748-1300 wrench: weighs only 2 kg is more powerful – it delivers 1300 Nm of unscrewing torque, giving the CP7748-1300 impact wrench a high torque-to-weight ratio, is more comfortable – it has a new, more ergonomic reversing system. The operator can reverse the wrench or increase torque with one hand. This is more ergonomic than a system located on the back of the tool. The new model reduces stress on and fatigue of the operator’s wrist and arm when reversing the wrench or adjusting torque is shorter – it can be used in tighter spaces without the need to remove the tool it also offers two different settings in forward position (40 percent maximum torque and full torque) and a full torque setting when unscrewing. In the new model, controlling and changing the direction of rotation (forward/reverse) is based on a ring system, which is more ergonomic compared to controls located on the back of the tool. Users can change direction by easily pressing buttons with one hand or by simply rotating a ring from anywhere around the tool. The powerful, compact and durable CP7748 wrench ensures comfort of use. The cylinder of the new wrench is made of hard chromed aluminium; the impact mechanism utilises a “twin-hammer” system. The profiled handle is coated with rubber resistant to most chemicals.
